The weekend-long celebration, held from Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th, brought together the community for an unforgettable mix of entertainment, outdoor adventure, food, and fun—all in the heart of Indian Lake at the school grounds.

On Sunday, August 17th, Steet Ponte Auto Group proudly hosted our 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at Heron Creek Golf Course in Clinton, NY. This annual tradition brings together our employees, vendors, and valued business partners for a fun-filled day on the course—and this year was no exception!
We had wonderful representation from all of our stores—Steet Toyota of Johnstown, Steet Ponte Chevy, United Auto Sales, Steet Ponte VW, Steet Ponte Ford, Steet Ponte Lincoln, and Steet Toyota of Yorkville. It’s always great to see everyone come together not just as coworkers, but as one big Steet Ponte family.
The day included breakfast at registration, putting contests, lunch at the turn, a full dinner, and prizes for all participants. A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, who helped make the day such a success, and to our Event Coordinator, Barb Mazzotta, who worked tirelessly to organize every detail of the tournament. From start to finish, Barb made sure everything ran smoothly, creating an experience that everyone could enjoy.
We also keep things fresh each year by rotating golf courses, which adds to the excitement and makes every tournament unique. After such a fantastic turnout this year, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

Five Signs Your Toyota Needs a Tire Alignment
Poorly aligned tires can have a big effect on how efficiently your car runs and how it feels to drive. If you notice any of the warning signs, you can schedule a tire alignment service at your local Toyota dealership.
1. Off-Center Steering Wheel
When you drive or park in a straight line, your steering wheel should also be straight, reflecting the direction that your tires are pointing. If there’s a problem with the alignment, you’ll have to move the steering wheel off-center to get your tires straight. This can be disorienting and make it difficult to carry out maneuvers without having to make adjustments.
2. Pulling to One Side
The tires on your car should all point directly forward when in a neutral position, creating a rectangle. When the tires are out of alignment, one or more of the tires points in a different direction. When the car is in motion, the misaligned tire will attempt to move forward at this angle, causing your Toyota to pull to one side. There are other causes of your car pulling to the side, but misaligned tires are one of the most common.
3. Increased Fuel Consumption

Misaligned tires cause excess stress on your suspension, making it harder for bumps in the road surface to be absorbed efficiently. If your tires are pulling in different directions, they will be fighting against each other as you travel. This can be felt through the steering wheel as vibrations, particularly at high speeds. Poor alignment can also lead to varying degrees of wear, which causes inconsistent contact with the surface. This can also lead to vibrations as the tires won’t be rotating smoothly.

Every summer, our team at Steet Toyota of Johnstown looks forward to one of the best traditions in the Steet Ponte Auto Group — our annual company picnic! This year, we once again headed up to the beautiful Adirondack Mountains for a full day of fun at Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY.
All employees and their immediate family members were invited to enjoy the park with all-day admission, a delicious buffet lunch, and plenty of refreshments. From thrilling water rides to relaxing lazy rivers, it was a perfect way to unwind and spend time together outside the dealership.
This event has been a summer highlight for over 25 years, and we’re always grateful for the memories we get to make with our work family.
