Peak Foliage Weekend in the Adirondacks Made for a Great Festival

Steet Toyota of Johnstown was thrilled to sponsor this year’s Great American Moose Festival in Indian Lake, NY! The weekend-long celebration, held from Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th, brought together the community for an unforgettable mix of entertainment, outdoor adventure, food, and fun—all in the heart of Indian Lake at the school grounds.

A Weekend Full of Fun

The festival was packed with exciting activities for all ages. Festivalgoers enjoyed:

• Monty the Moose on full display with a fun contest to name him for next year
• Live music on Saturday by Kim Buckley and Rocky and the Moosemen
• A comedy show at the Indian Lake Theater
• Guided tours of Moose River Plains and OK Slip Falls
• Delicious eats from the Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck and Chubs Chopped Subs
• Trivia Night at Axes and Irons to kick off the weekend on Friday
• Special kids’ story times and crafts at the Indian Lake Library
• An incredible lineup of local vendors on the school’s front lawn

The weather couldn’t have been better, making it the perfect setting for this Adirondack tradition.

As part of our sponsorship, Steet Toyota of Johnstown proudly showcased the rugged and dependable Toyota Tundra, alongside a variety of vehicles from our sister stores at the Steet Ponte Auto Group. Guests explored our display on “Steet Street”, where we highlighted vehicles built to handle every adventure—from daily drives to weekend escapes in the Adirondacks.
