Steet Toyota of Johnstown is proud to announce an incredible achievement in this year’s 13th Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group Thanksgiving Food Drive! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing customers, community partners, and team members, our store alone collected 1,006 food items to support Fulton County Veterans and the Vet to Vet Program.
Our donation was part of a group-wide total of 4,000 items collected across all eight Steet Ponte dealerships, benefiting Feed Our Vets of Central New York, Fulton County Veterans, and local Vet to Vet initiatives.
Every can, box, and bag of food helps support Veterans and their families right here in our community—and this year’s response was nothing short of inspiring.

A Record-Breaking 8th Annual Coats for Kids Drive!
The Steet Ponte Auto Group is thrilled to share the incredible success of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive — and this year was truly one for the record books!
Thanks to the amazing generosity of our customers, employees, and community members, we collected an astounding 1,425 items of winter outerwear! That includes:
- 🧥 444 winter coats
- 🧤 819 hats and gloves
- 🧣 12 scarves
- ❄️ 7 snow suits
- 👢 2 pairs of boots
When we first started this initiative eight years ago, our entire group collected around 250 total items between all eight stores. To see that number multiply by seven is nothing short of incredible!
We donated to: Mayfield, Gloversville, CVA, Frankfort, Herkimer, Utica and Rome Elementary School Districts this year.

We’re 12 years strong with our Annual Halloween Costume Contest, and this year was another blast! Every year, we love seeing how creative, funny, and inventive our employees can be with their costumes, and 2025 did not disappoint. From solo outfits to entire store groups getting into the spirit, the competition was fierce and the results were amazing.

Steet Toyota of Johnstown’s 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Supports Local Veterans
The holiday season is here, and that means it’s time for Steet Toyota of Johnstown’s 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! This year, we’re proud to support Fulton County Veterans and the Vet to Vet program, a wonderful local nonprofit organization that provides food and assistance to Veterans and their families in need right here in our community.
We’re inviting everyone to help us fill the area set up in our showroom with nonperishable food items — not only to provide support during the Thanksgiving season, but also to help these families well beyond the holidays.
The organization has shared some of the most needed items, including:
- Hearty soups
- Canned meats
- Pasta and sauce
- Bisquick and syrup
- Nonperishable fruits and vegetables
Your donations will directly benefit local Veterans and their families — every item makes a difference!
🦃 Our food drive is happening NOW through Monday, November 17th at 10AM!
And as a special thank-you, if you bring in 3 or more nonperishable items to our Service Department, you’ll receive $10 off your service visit! Just show your donation to our Service Department team to redeem your discount. (Offer valid through 11/17.)

What a fantastic Halloween celebration! Steet Toyota of Johnstown recently hosted our 5th Annual Trunk or Treat, and it was another hugely successful year! We want to extend a huge thank you to our incredible team — your creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication to decorating vehicles and dressing up made this event truly memorable. Our themed trunks were a hit, and it’s amazing to see everyone get so into the spirit of the season.
This year, we were thrilled to welcome members of the Fulton County & Johnstown Police and Fire Departments, a food truck for delicious treats, and giveaways that went beyond candy, including fun prizes and other treats so that everyone could enjoy themselves. The event created a safe, friendly, and festive environment for trick-or-treating in our community, something we love providing every year.
Seeing families and kids enjoying themselves, walking around the dealership, and engaging with our team made it clear why we love this time of year so much. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success, your energy and smiles made it a day to remember!

Five Signs Your Toyota Needs a Tire Alignment
Poorly aligned tires can have a big effect on how efficiently your car runs and how it feels to drive. If you notice any of the warning signs, you can schedule a tire alignment service at your local Toyota dealership.
1. Off-Center Steering Wheel
When you drive or park in a straight line, your steering wheel should also be straight, reflecting the direction that your tires are pointing. If there’s a problem with the alignment, you’ll have to move the steering wheel off-center to get your tires straight.
