Every summer, our team at Steet Toyota of Johnstown looks forward to one of the best traditions in the Steet Ponte Auto Group — our annual company picnic! This year, we once again headed up to the beautiful Adirondack Mountains for a full day of fun at Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY. All employees and their immediate family members were invited to enjoy the park with all-day admission, a delicious buffet lunch, and plenty of refreshments. From thrilling water rides to relaxing lazy rivers, it was a perfect way to unwind and spend time together outside the dealership. This event has been a summer highlight for over 25 years, and we’re always grateful for the memories we get to make with our work family.

We are proud to announce that Steet Toyota of Johnstown recently sponsored the Johnstown Fire Department’s 8th Annual Charity Ball, held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. It was a spectacular event dedicated to raising funds for our local community and charitable causes. This annual gathering is not only a fantastic night out but also a meaningful way to give back to the Johnstown, NY area. Supporting Our Community The funds raised from this event go toward helping local families and victims of house fires, providing crucial support in their times of need. The proceeds also benefit a variety of local organizations, including: 🦁 Greater Johnstown Lions Club 💙 Mohawk Valley Hospice 🎓 Johnstown High School PTSA 🚒 Two Fire Department scholarship funds 🔥 Plus many other deserving local organizations and companies A Night of Glamour and Giving This year’s theme, "A Night Out in Hollywood," brought a touch of Tinseltown to the Holiday Inn, conveniently located right next door to our dealership on N. Comrie Ave. Guests enjoyed a fun evening of: 🍽️ Dinner with a delicious spread to fuel the fun 🎶 Dancing to live entertainment by the talented TS Ensemble 📸 Professional photos by Mark Perfetti and Chris Sawicki, capturing the glitz and glamour of the night. Proud to Stand with Our Local Heroes At Steet Toyota of Johnstown, we are honored to support the Johnstown Fire Department and their mission to protect and uplift our community. Events like the Charity Ball remind us of the power of coming together for a great cause, while also having a great time! Additionally, we recently donated 2 Emergency Plugs to the Johnstown Professional Firefighters Local 779 and the Gloversville Fire Department to help aid first responders when working on a vehicle accident for hybrid and electric vehicles! These plugs are costly, and not given to the local volunteer departments. The Emergency Plug® (Plug) has been developed to prevent unpredictable vehicle movement by any Full or Hybrid Electric Vehicles (EVs) in an emergency situation as well as during regular maintenance. This allows first responders to get to any victims quickly and safely. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Johnstown Fire Department and supporting more incredible local events in the future. Held on February 16th, 2025 at Gore Mountain in North Creek, NY! This past weekend, our Auto Group team came together for an unforgettable day on the slopes at Gore Mountain for our 5th Annual Ski Trip! This annual tradition has become a highly anticipated event, giving employees the chance to embrace the winter season, connect with coworkers, and enjoy a well-deserved day of fun and adventure. From seasoned skiers to first-timers, everyone had a blast exploring the mountain’s diverse trails, soaking in the breathtaking views, and experiencing the thrill of the downhill runs. The crisp mountain air and fresh powder made for perfect skiing and snowboarding conditions, ensuring a fantastic experience for all. To keep everyone fueled for the day, we provided a complimentary lunch at the Tannery Bar and Restaurant, where employees got to warm up, enjoy a delicious meal, and share stories from the slopes. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and bond with colleagues in a casual and scenic setting. This event continues to be a wonderful way to bring our Auto Group team together outside of the workplace, strengthening our connections and building lasting memories. Whether carving through fresh powder or simply enjoying the mountain atmosphere, everyone left with smiles on their faces and excitement for next year’s trip. We had our 25th Annual Company Picnic at Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY on Sunday, July 16th! We had a blast, as usual, and fully enjoyed our own private pavilion, all you can eat lunch buffet, and never ending ice cream! Our picnic has grown so much, when we first started in 1998, it was just our first 3 stores, United Auto Sales, Steet Toyota of Yorkville, and Steet Ponte Chevy. We started it to build camaraderie and as a way to thank our hard working employees for all that they do for us with a relaxing day out. Since our first picnic, we’ve acquired 5 more stores with a total of 350 employees! Tickets are included for you and your immediate family for a full day pass to the park. The weather in the Adirondacks was perfect, despite the forecast that called for rain all day, and we can’t wait for next year. Thanks to all who attended, we had a great day!

On Saturday, March 18th, we were a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual Johnstown Fire Department’s Charity Ball! We not only sponsored the ball, but we got a few tables for a fun night out! The gala was a semi-formal event right next door at our neighbor, The Holiday Inn’s beautiful grounds! The Johnstown Firefighters Local 779 Charity Fund is used to give back to the community through sponsorships, donations and supporting community events. The charity fund is most importantly used to help city residents who have unfortunately been displaced from their home due to fire by providing financial assistance to get them through the most difficult hours of their lives. The 6th year of the charity ball had music provided by the "Upstate NY's Top-Ranked Party Band" Jukebox Rebellion. We had a blast and are looking forward to next year’s event!

November 21st-December 14th, 2022: Happy holidays from our families to yours! This holiday season, please consider supporting us in our annual holiday giving efforts. For the past 15 years we've donated to different local schools and organizations to help put a smile on the faces of our local kids in need. Whether it's donations of wish list gift items or most needed personal items, we know the importance of giving back to our local community, especially during the holidays. This year, we will be supporting Haven of Hope Farm and Residence in Fonda, NY for us here at Steet Toyota of Johnstown! We are donating most needed items and wish list items to this integral program in our community that supports homeless women and children. Simply take a tag from the giving tree in our showroom, purchase your gift(s), tape the tag to your gift and return them to our tree. Donations will be delivered to the Hope House on December 14th! Donations are accepted during business hours. We hope you can experience the joy in paying it forward and help these kids in need have a great holiday! We are so excited to see what kind of turnout we have this year. Joe lives in New Hartford with his wife, where they raised their two children, Carly & Joe Jr., who both work in the family business as well! Vivienne has been working in the car business for about 40 years and has been with Steet Toyota of Johnstown since we opened in 2007! She has five daughters and three grandchildren, who she loves spending time with outside of work. Her favorite Toyota is the Sienna for getting her kids and grandkids everywhere they need to go! Vivienne lives locally in Johnstown, and is also the Choir Director for the Foothills United Methodist Church!
