Holiday Donations & Drives

November 28th-December 18th: Happy holidays from our families to yours! For the past 18 years we've donated to different local schools and organizations to help put a smile on the faces of our local kids in need. 

This year, we adopted families in the Amsterdam and Gloversville School Districts to provide gifts for the holiday season!

We had a huge success this year, and proudly donated over 150 gifts for both schools, and 619 items total with all 8 stores in our Auto Group! We are so happy to be able to play a part in making the holidays brighter for our local families in need.

November 4th-November 17th: 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! 

We wrapped up our record breaking Thanksgiving Food Drive, by donating 1,006 items of food to the Fulton County Veterans & Vet to Vet Program! In total, between all 8 of our stores, we collected 4,000 items of food to benefit Fulton & Oneida County Veterans Food Pantries.  Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we’re grateful to help make a difference, especially during the holiday season. 

Last year, we donated 2 car loads FULL of food, along with a $1,000 donation to the Amen Soup Kitchen. As a family owned and operated business, our entire staff here at Steet Toyota and the Steet and Ponte Families know how important it is to help our communities, especially during the holidays!

October 1st-November 3rd: We’re thrilled to share the heartwarming success of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive! Thanks to the generosity of our customers, employees, and community, between all 8 of our stores, we broke another record this year by collecting an incredible 1,425 items of winter outerwear to help keep local children warm all winter long. This year's donations went to Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary Schools!

We're going 8 years strong with our coat drive! Thank you for keeping our kids warm this winter! 

June 1st-June 25th, 2025: Our 6th Annual Pet Supplies Drive this year benefitted the Fulton County ASPCA! We proudly donated a truck full of pet food, supplies, blankets, toys, leashes and collars, as well as a $2,000 check to our local ASPCA!

Every summer, Steet Toyota of Johnstown collects money throughout our store to get pet food, toys, blankets, and treats for all of the animals in our local pet shelters in Johnstown! In the past, we've donated to the Johnstown Pet Shelter and the James A. Brennan Humane Society in Gloversville as well. We love getting to give back to the animals who aren't able to find homes yet, and we love even more playing with them when we get there!
