Modern, spacious, and smart, the 2025 Toyota Sequoia is a capable family hauler. Derived from the Tundra pickup, this three-row full-size SUV boasts smooth road manners and is ready to power your rugged adventures.

Meet the 2025 Toyota Sequoia

With a frame borrowed from its Tundra sibling, the 2025 Sequoia is a massive three-row SUV with a rigid body-on-frame construction, a feature that translates to exceptional handling on rugged terrains. The exterior is rugged yet incredibly sophisticated, catching the eye with the adventure-inspired boxy design and modern styling elements, such as bright LED lights that provide excellent illumination in all road conditions.

A mesh-style grille becomes a focal point, and fog lamps also come standard for enhanced visibility in adverse weather or when driving on dusty roads. A range of wheel options and a spectrum of attractive colors make it easy to let your personality shine, customizing the model to your liking. You can also add convenient LED trailer reverse assist lights for easier backing on narrow, dark trails.

Impressive Power

Each trim level of the new Sequoia gets power from an i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine with a combined output of 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode and Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes pair with this engine, delivering smooth driving dynamics and optimized power output to match various driving situations.

Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is available across the lineup. The four-wheel drive system comes with added off-roading features, including terrain-specific drive modes and enhanced suspensions on select trim levels. Regardless of the drivetrain you prefer, 8.6 inches of ground clearance allows you to follow each trail wherever it goes. This SUV also boasts a towing capacity of up to 9,520 lbs and comes with trailering provisions.

Comfort and Utility

With an expansive cabin, the 2025 Sequoia offers plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Eight seats are standard, but second-row captain’s chairs are available if you want to upgrade to luxurious comfort. Both interior layouts offer 39.2 inches of second-row legroom and up to 33.7 inches of legroom in the third row with the seats pushed full backward or 28.1 inches with the seats full forward.

Depending on the third row’s placement, the rear cargo area offers between 11.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity, which is more than enough for daily items and groceries, and 22.3 cubic feet, which is plenty of room for luggage. When the third-row seats are not in use, you can fold them to expand the cargo area up to 49 cubic feet behind the second row, or you get 86.9 cubic feet with all rear seats folded.
