Steet Toyota of Johnstown’s 5th Annual Trunk or Treat Was a Spooktacular Success!

There’s nothing better than a beautiful summer day on the golf course with great people, and this year’s Steet Ponte Auto Group Annual Golf Tournament delivered all of that and more! This year, our annual tournament was held at Holland Heights Golf Course in Herkimer, NY, bringing together team members and friends from across the Steet Ponte Auto Group for a day of golf, food, prizes and plenty of fun. We were proud to have representation from all of our Steet Ponte stores, along with several of the businesses we’re fortunate to work with throughout the year, including New Hartford Window Cleaning and Zeibart. It was a great opportunity to step away from the dealerships, enjoy some friendly competition and spend time together outside of the office. A huge thank-you goes to Barb Mazzotta of Steet Ponte Mazda, who coordinated this year’s tournament and put together an incredible day for everyone who attended. From the moment golfers hit the course, there was something to look forward to! Golfers were treated to hot dogs and hamburgers at the turn, a drink tent to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day, and tons of prizes provided by our manufacturers and Steet Ponte stores. In fact, everyone went home with something! And, of course, the day wasn’t complete without a great meal. After finishing up on the course, everyone gathered for dinner at Holland Heights, giving us the perfect opportunity to relax, share some laughs and wrap up an unforgettable day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of people to spend the day with. Events like this are a great reminder of what makes the Steet Ponte Auto Group special—not only the dealerships and brands we represent, but the people who make up our team and the business relationships we’ve built throughout our community. We also want to give a special shoutout to Valerie Rinaldi of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln for helping make this event such a success the day of! At Steet Toyota of Johnstown, we believe that helping our community starts with supporting the next generation, and we’re proud to continue a tradition that means so much to us! This year marked our 3rd Annual School Supplies & Backpack Drive, and together with the Steet Ponte Auto Group, we were able to donate an incredible 576 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to local students. Each backpack was packed with items students need to start the school year strong, including folders, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, pencils and more. Our hope is that having the right supplies on the first day of school helps students feel prepared, motivated and confident as they begin a brand-new year of learning. Steet Toyota of Johnstown was proud to donate backpacks and school supplies to Amsterdam, Johnstown, and Gloversville elementary schools. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the students, families, teachers and schools in our community. At Steet Toyota of Johnstown, giving back to our community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, employees, and community members, we're excited to announce the success of our 6th Annual Pet Supplies Drive, benefiting the Fulton County SPCA. Once again, our showroom became a collection point for pet lovers from across Johnstown, Gloversville, Amsterdam, Fonda, Broadalbin, Mayfield, and the surrounding Fulton County communities. Together, we collected countless donations to help local animals in need, including: Pet food Toys Leashes Collars Blankets Treats And many other essential pet supplies Every donation helps provide comfort, care, and enrichment for the animals waiting to find their forever homes. One of the most rewarding parts of this annual tradition is delivering the donations in person. Several members of the Steet Toyota of Johnstown team visited the Fulton County SPCA to unload the supplies and spend time with the shelter dogs, t's a tradition our employees look forward to every year. Seeing the difference these donations make, and getting to spend time with the wonderful animals at the shelter, is a reminder of how much a caring community can accomplish when everyone comes together for a great cause. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this year's drive. Whether you donated a bag of food, a new toy, a cozy blanket, or simply helped spread the word, you played an important role in supporting the Fulton County SPCA and the incredible work they do every day.
